CRISTIANO RONALDO – RELENTLESSLY PURSUING HIS GOAL
Cristiano Ronaldo and other athletes achieve success as a result of hard work, top quality coaching, and many hours of practise.
As a presenter and leader you have to walk out on to the platform or into the boardroom like an athlete goes out onto the race-track or football pitch; ready, able, and willing to deliver a sterling performance and lead from the front. This cannot happen without a considerable amount of hard work, real thought and plenty of practise.
Someone once said that the best impromptu speech takes only 3 weeks to prepare. There is a lot of truth in that.
The secret is to make your speech or presentation appear effortless. We can show you the pathway to effective communication and great leadership; this will be your platform to success.
Business people, politicians, lawyers, and academics don’t just produce a wonderful presentation from nowhere; it is the result of much consideration, often-times collaboration, and always plenty of practise.
The reality is that a great deal of preparation, hard work, and attention to detail has taken place. The end result may be a speech that appears effortless and unrehearsed, but the reality is that a great deal of effort and time has gone into producing the final product.
It may well be that an awful lot of consideration, editing and re-editing, anxious conversation with friends and colleagues, and sleepless nights has occurred along the way. But being a good speaker means you make it look easy; the audience are unaware that any difficulties could possibly have arisen; you are confident in your presentation which you deliver with great aplomb.
We can help you prepare for any type of presentation to any audience, and we do so by engaging with you to truly improve and give you the independence to deliver presentations naturally and with confidence; to be a true leader.
EXCELLENCE CAN ONLY BE ACHIEVED WITH PRACTISE
But as any athlete will tell you, excellence can only be achieved by practise.
You wouldn’t become a great footballer if all you did was learn the rules of football. Nor would you become a great footballer by simply watching football games.
Imagine what would happen if you turned up for team practise and when you arrived the coach just put on a Powerpoint presentation of the rules of the game. You would be shocked. The reality is you have to make a habit of engaging in your sport as often as possible in order to improve your game and become the best you can.
Cristiano Ronaldo pursues a planned daily workout which includes practising 3 to 4 hours a day, plenty of runs for cardio, sprinting drills, football exercises, gym, as well as keeping to a strict diet. This is how Ronaldo reaches the top of his game; there is nothing coincidental about his success. As Sir Alex Ferguson rightly says “There’s no fluke about it. I see Ronaldo practising all the time in training.”
A top athlete like Cristiano Ronaldo appreciates that to be the best you need to practise and run through a series of exercises on and off pitch, both physical and mental, in order to achieve success and maintain optimum performance. Ronaldo also realises that no matter how good he is he needs to listen to his coach and others and follow their advice and counsel.
Being an effective leader and presenter is no different; we will engage with you by drawing on our experience, our portfolio of services and tailor-made exercises, to ensure you become the best you can and achieve the success you deserve; to ensure that good practise and success becomes second nature.
Effective communication is imperative if you are to be a great leader; and leadership development within an organisation is critical if you wish to have a profitable, productive, and high-performing team.
